The four star Bluebay Beach Resort offers island luxury and Swahili charm along the eastern beaches of Kiwengwa on Zanzibar, off the east coast ofAfrica. Set within tropical gardens full of over swaying palm trees and together with sister hotel, the resort sits on a 500 metre stretch of white sands. Rooms are bright, spacious and decorated in traditional Zanzibari style with hand carved furniture. The main restaurant offers live cooking stations at breakfast and hosts beach and poolside parties, seafood BBQs and live nightly entertainment with dancers, Taaraba music and acrobats taking centre stage. A five star PADI certified dive centre provides guests with the chance to scuba dive at the nearby popular pear-shaped Mnemba Atoll, home to a wide range of marine life, while little ones can be entertained (allowing parents to have some ‘adult time’) at the Toto Children’s Club offering weekly themed programmes and indoor and outdoor activities.
